Wondros Global flew to Edinburgh in July for TED Global 2011 to talk with the official Ted Translators. This team of linguists translates TED Talks from English into their native languages.

Wondros discovered that these translators began their work independently of the TED network, translating the talks for their children, villages, universities and their countries at large. Seeing the passion and desire to be involved, TED created TED Translations for these cultural ambassadors to bring TED ideas around the globe. Wondros interviewed these translators about their past, present, and future work for TED.
