The Opportunity
In 2014, Ogilvy & Mather invited Wondros to join a rebranding and production sprint for IBM. Our mandate was to demonstrate the immeasurable and enduring impact of more than a century of innovation on our world, by showcasing the ubiquity of IBM products in our lives — and this original new ad campaign needed to air on television in just six weeks.
The Solution
We produced more than 50 unique spots in just four weeks, each with its own tone, look, and messaging focus. Each spot aired on TV just once during the 2014 Masters Golf Tournament, joining together to tell a complete story and creating a singular viewing experience. The pieces, viewed on TV and then online by more than two million people across the country, provided insights into the possible futures that IBM’s technological innovation may bring. Wondros went on to produce additional spots for IBM, including an introduction to Watson.
